Khoa Tran joined our lab with support from the McNair Scholars program after transferring to UC San Diego. He has been studying the roles of non-coding RNAs in controlling gene expression in human colon cancer cells. He recently won several awards for his undergraduate research work and poster presentations. Khoa graduated in June 2023 from UC San Diego with a Biochemistry degree. He will be working with Roche's GenMark Diagnostics after graduation and has an interest in pursuing graduate study in the future. Congratulations on all of your excellent achievements, Khoa!!
